About Us

Dedicated to Ending Childhood Hunger in San Diego County.

Got Your Back San Diego is a 100% community-funded, volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting childhood hunger right here in our own backyard. We believe no child should ever have to wonder where their next meal will come from. Each week, we partner with local schools to provide children in need with bags of nutritious food to sustain them through the weekend — along with educational materials that promote healthy eating habits. Our mission is simple but powerful: to ensure that every child in San Diego County has enough to eat, the opportunity to learn, and the hope for a brighter future.
